Do you smoke? Hang out in smokey bars? Stay up late and drink all night? Or perhaps you play an instrument until your body aches? Well, if so then load up your plate with curry! No, really…curry, the Indian spice that is making waves in health research. We’ve covered the anti-inflammatory benefits of curry before, specifically the spice turmeric which adds the golden hue to curried foods. Here’s a post on why curry benefits your poor, abused liver, as well. The question is “Why haven’t you started eating more curry?” Keep curry powder on your tour bus or spice packets to add to your favorite steamed vegetables or even ramen noodles (cringe).
One of my most favorite dishes is my Roasted Curried Cauliflower from my cookbook, Mediterranean Diet Cookbook for Dummies. This is a simple recipe to make and is excellent leftover–even cold! The evidence is out there, so start figuring out ways to “Curry-fy” your diet!
