Tired of oatmeal?
Are you stuck in a rut because you are sick and tired of having oatmeal for breakfast every morning?
Well you shouldn’t be. There are so many add ins that you can put into oatmeal that change the flavor completely. You can add fruit, nuts, sweeteners, or extracts to liven up your oatmeal! Here are a few suggestions…..
I really enjoy adding peanut butter to my oatmeal. It adds some protein, flavor, and texture if you use crunchy pb. You can also use almond butter, cashew butter, or any other nut butters you might like.
Another option is to add fruit. You can add dried, fresh, or frozen fruit to get different tastes, textures, and flavors. One of my favorite combinations is to add frozen blueberries with milk.
You could also add different extracts like vanilla! I put vanilla, fresh strawberries, and milk, but the variations are endless. It also helps to add a little bit of sweetener. I like the molasses flavor of brown sugar, but any type will work. Some more good choices are maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar Pick flavors you like and start mixing!
